We collect your email address, display name, and the expense and group data you create within the app. Payment handles (Venmo, CashApp, etc.) you add are stored so group members can send you money directly.
Your data is used solely to operate RaveReceipt. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Expense and balance data is visible only to members of the same event or group.
Group chat messages are end-to-end encrypted. Message content is encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers, and can only be decrypted by members of your group. We cannot read your messages.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which permanently removes all associated data.
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics that identify you across websites.
